Judy, manager of our Birmingham office, offers a wide range of services for individual and business clients with regard to Accounting, Tax, and Consulting Services. A QuickBooks Professional Advisor, Judy enjoys training clients in the use of this accounting software.

Judy graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1973 with a degree in Mathematics. She began working in accounting in 1982, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1991.

Judy serves as a Financial Neutral in the practice of Collaborative Divorce – a new way to resolve disputes respectfully without going to court. Collaborative Practice [CP] is a non-adversarial process designed to resolve disputes in a fair, transparent, and respectful manner. CP comprises a team of professionals from various disciplines trained in the collaborative process who work with the parties to resolve the conflict.

Judy, who holds a Masters of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School, serves on the board of Birmingham Collaborative Alliance. She also sits on the Community Advisory Board for UAB’s Center for Palliative Care.

Judy enjoys good books, exercise, and laughter. She is married to Michael Mason, and they have three grown children, Lisa, Creighton, & Kendall, and four grandchildren, all of whom feed her laughter addiction.

Judy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the Birmingham Collaborative Alliance.
